If you are in Brisbane today (7am – 11am) head over to King George Square and check out The Ideas Gallery.
“This isn’t food?!” I hear you say. Well as part of this project, I entered an awesome photography scavenger hunt around Brisbane, Scavenger Snaps, where one of my photos has been chosen from 1300 entries to be on exhibit for the Brisbane City Council Ideas gallery. Since playeatrepeat.com is all about where to play and eat in Brisbane, you kids should also check it out. There are a number of amazing and beautiful photos of our wonderful city.
Here is my photo which will be on exhibit with another 4 winning entries (one of which is also my sisters). This was entered for the category “Something blue”- it’s beautiful graffiti found in The Laneway, Spencer Lane. (Hope you like it!)
And a few others of mine that were also short listed.
The treasury casino and ball sculpture street art at Brisbane square, Reddacliffe place (Entered for “Uniquely Brisbane” category)
City lights reflecting on the Brisbane River at sunset, from Southbanks River Quay. (Entered for “Reflection” category)
King George square is currently been teeming with ideas about the City Centre Master Plan project and future aspirations for our city centre. They are showcasing fresh ideas for creating a more liveable and vibrant city. Check it out!
